Dr Philip Reid trained at Oxford University and St Mary's Hospital in London. After qualification he trained in general medicine in West London hospitals before gaining the MRCP qualification. He then specialised in general practice obtaining the MRCGP qualification and DRCOG qualification in obstetrics and gynaecology.
He joined the practice in 1993. Dr Reid is one of the Directors at the Great Chapel Street Medical Centre and is a trustee at the Wythan Hall Charity providing accommodation and support for homeless people.
He is responsible for the shared antenatal and My Care My Way complex elderly care management at the practice. He is also the Caldicott Guardian and safe guarding lead for the surgery.
